What I Offer
I provide private Pilates sessions for individuals who are serious about their health and want to move better, feel stronger and stay resilient.
Every session is designed to improve how your body functions as a whole — building control through breath and movement, correcting postural imbalances, and creating strength that carries over into everything else you do.
I love helping clients get stronger and watching them grow more confident and more at ease in their bodies. That shift from effort to capability is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
Who I Work With
My style of teaching is most effective for those who already value movement and see Pilates as an investment in their long-term health. Many of my clients are active but feel there’s room for improvement — maybe they’ve tried Pilates before and want to delve deeper, or perhaps they are looking to support other activities like weight training, running or keeping up with their kids. My clients come to sessions with the mindset that this is time they’re giving themselves, and they’re willing to show up consistently and do the work.
The New Client Experience
New clients often tell me they’re surprised by how challenging the first session feels. Weaknesses and imbalances can be humbling — but they are also temporary. I encourage clients to remember their first session because before long it will feel like a distant memory.
Many have tried group classes and found the experience either confusing, unsure which exercises are right for their bodies, or to be frank, unsafe because instructors do not make corrections or offer modifications. My approach looks at the whole body, not just one issue, so strength and movement patterns improve together. Sessions are bespoke and created with your body’s needs at the forefront.
Within a few weeks, clients often notice increased muscle tone, better balance and a new confidence in their bodies. Many feel inspired to add other forms of exercise into their lives, supported by the foundation Pilates gives them.
Most sessions center around the reformer, with matwork or stability chair exercises added as needed. Every session is tailored to the client in front of me. Clients leave feeling stronger, calmer and energized — like they’ve had a real workout and a mental reset at the same time.
What Makes My Approach Different
Precision matters to me. I’m constantly watching alignment and movement patterns, making small adjustments that lead to meaningful change. I’m also attentive to how a client arrives in their body that day. If someone comes in feeling scattered or tense, we slow down, use breath and build complexity gradually. This balance of structure and nervous-system awareness allows sessions to be both challenging and grounding. Pilates becomes not just physical training, but a gift of self-care clients give to themselves.
My Philosophy
My studio is a judgment-free zone. Anyone who invests in their health deserves respect. Good movement should feel controlled, intelligent and adaptable. If something isn’t working, we scale it back, build strength and return to it when the body is ready. A great Pilates practice evolves as you do.
Pilates is the medicine that supports the rest of your life. Whether you’re preparing for an event, rehabbing an injury or simply wanting to stay strong and capable, the work adapts to what you need now — and later.
My Background & Training
I’m a Stott-certified Pilates instructor, trained through a year-long, anatomy-based program. My own experience with significant body imbalances after a car accident and years working in fashion (in high heels!) led me to Pilates, and I was hooked after my first session.
I’m drawn to Pilates because of its depth and adaptability—its roots in rehabilitation, athletic training and functional movement. It’s work you can do throughout your life, and it supports everything else you ask your body to do every single day.
That versatility, and its ability to meet people where they are, is why I love teaching and helping people become stronger, more confident versions of themselves.
“While I see my body shape, muscle tone and posture improving after only a few sessions, it’s my increased strength and energy that have amazed me the most.”
